The Centre for European programmes (CEP) of the American university in Bulgaria is a department working in the field of European integration and European project management. CEP organizes training activities that aim to respond to the demand of the necessary knowledge, skills and expertise, connected to the opportunities provided with the Bulgarian accession to the European Union. CEP organizes different kinds of certificate programmes, information activities and consulting in EU affairs for the business community, companies, central and regional administrations, local authorities and NGOs and other stakeholders. The Centre takes part in different European programmes for higher education and vocational training both at national level, but also within the European context. - CEP has wide network of contacts, partners and supporters: Business associations, International organizations, Universities, central and regional administration , Embassies, Donors;
- CEP possesses extensive expertise in organizing different kinds of trainings, seminars and complex local events in a broad area of topics with multiple partners;
- CEP has major experience in providing consulting services and research work to the business community, NGO sector, public administration, regional and local authorities;
- CEP has developed extensive track record of more than 80 project initiatives with various donor support, implemented through academic exchange, professional training programmes, research and consultancy work, study visits, seminars and conferences;
- CEP is located in the AUBG Elieff Center for Education and Culture in Sofia, which provides excellent facilities and venue for the implementation of all trainings activities, meetings under projects, seminars, meetings etc.
