Overview:
Production
- During the first quarter of 2008 once again there is an increase in the production of mineral fuels for internal combustion engines in Bulgaria, and the growth is 21%
Foreign trade
- During the first quarter of 2008 import of mineral fuels for internal combustion engines increased significantly. Compared to the same period of 2007, it is 19.8% higher.
- During the reported period a growth in exports of mineral fuels for internal combustion engines is recorded. 2.8 times bigger quantities have been exported from Bulgaria than during the same period last year.
- The total trade of Bulgaria in mineral fuels, lubricants and similar products compared to the first quarter of 2007, is 59.4% bigger, while the negative foreign trade balance grew by 41.4%.
Balances
- The reports for the first quarter of 2008 show that the quantities of mineral fuels for automobiles and other engines for domestic sales, compared with the same period in 2007, are 28.7% less.
